About Us
Jetan Global Business Development Inc. is a Halifax-based company with international experience in event planning, business development, and community platforms. Our focus is on helping local businesses grow, building innovative community projects, and creating Nova Scotia’s first Digital Community Economy.

Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Personal Assistant / Executive Secretary to support the CEO in day-to-day operations and project coordination. This role requires excellent organizational skills, experience in event planning, and the ability to assist with business collaborations and client relations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide executive-level administrative support (calendar, correspondence, scheduling).

Assist in planning and executing trade shows, promotional events, and exhibitions.

Conduct research and prepare reports to support business partnerships or potential mergers.

Coordinate with local businesses and partners to enhance joint marketing initiatives.

Draft and edit professional documents, proposals, and presentations.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, Secretary, or Project Coordinator.

Strong background in event planning / business development support.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus).

Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $22–$26/hr, depending on experience.

Flexible schedule (20–30 hours/week to start, with potential for full-time).

Opportunities for growth into Project Manager or Business Development Manager roles.

Opportunities with Jetan Global
We welcome students, recent graduates, and local talents in Nova Scotia to join us in building innovative community platforms.

  • Stage 1 (Now - Volunteer/Internships): Participants will contribute 5-10 hours per week, either remotely or in hybrid settings. Every participant will receive a formal reference letter and and certificate of completion, recognizing your skills and contributions. 

  • Stage 2 (Future Paid Roles): Individuals who demonstrate strong skills, commitment, and initiative during Stage 1 may be invited to continue in paid part-time or full-time positions ($18 - 22/hour), depending on project needs and performance.

  • Eligibility: Current students or recent grads and local talents in Nova Scotia are welcome to apply.
